Today our 8th studio album came out! Guerrilla Gorilla is our heaviest record (by design) and we are super happy with the results. There is no way this album would have the punch it does if not for Brad Dickert’s amazing drumming, engineering, and comping. Nor would it shriek without the lead guitar stylings of Alan Sosa. We had a great time working on this mammoth!
I’ll write more about the songs and what the album is about but I want to let people listen and find meaning for themselves first.
Aside from that, our 9th album is pretty far along. All the drums and guitars/bass/synths are done. Now I’m tracking vocals and I’m about halfway done. After that will be adding Alan’s lead guitars and then I think we’ll be done. Brad also finished drums on our 10th album last month. While he was rocking those tunes out, I was tracking demos for album 12. The production-side of things is going great!
But where we have been failing miserably is in the social media/live show department. You know, the part where we have to put ourselves out there. It’s been my fault. I’ve been building on sand. But it’s alright. 2026 will be a year to focus on exactly those things. So no album next year. Although we will always be recording and bankrolling our 14 album series.
